After Hours (1985) 🌙 One of Martin Scorsese's strangest and most underrated films. Griffin Dunne plays Paul, an ordinary New Yorker whose night takes a ridiculous turn after meeting a woman at a café. What starts as a simple date turns into an endless series of bizarre encounters in downtown Manhattan. The empty streets, neon lights, strange characters, and that uneasy feeling of being stuck somewhere you shouldn't be... There's nothing quite like New York after midnight in the 80s. 🎬 Scorsese shot much of the film at night in SoHo, capturing a side of New York that barely exists anymore. Funny, stressful, and wonderfully weird. All Paul wanted was to get home. 😂 #AfterHours #MartinScorsese #GriffinDunne #80sMovies #80sNewYork - @80s.neons
