@youupgradeyou: Apparently, even pigeons have days when they just need to sit down and do absolutely nothing. 😭🐦 We’re so used to seeing pigeons walking around, flying between buildings, or searching for food that seeing one sitting flat on the ground can look surprisingly human. But pigeons really can sit like this! When they’re comfortable and feel safe, they may lower their bodies to the ground, tuck their legs underneath themselves, and rest with their bellies against the surface. Because their feathers cover much of their legs, it can look like they’ve suddenly lost their feet and melted straight into the pavement. 💀 Some birds also rest in similar positions while sunbathing, spreading or relaxing their feathers to soak up the warmth. Of course, a pigeon sitting down isn’t necessarily tired or sad. It’s simply one of several natural resting positions birds can adopt. However, if a pigeon seems unusually weak, struggles to walk, or cannot fly, it may need help rather than just a break. Be honest, have you ever seen a pigeon sitting like this, or are you just finding out they can do that? 😭 #Pigeons #BirdFacts #FunnyAnimals #AnimalBehavior #InterestingFacts
