@cookcleanandrepeat: If you’re bringing green bean casserole to Thanksgiving, make it THIS way! Loaded with crispy bacon, caramelized onions, melty cheese, and a golden, crunchy topping. This is one holiday side dish everyone will want seconds of! 🤎 INGREDIENTS • 1 small onion, chopped • 5 slices bacon, chopped • 2 cans cut green beans, drained • 1 can cream of mushroom soup • ¼ cup heavy cream • 1 cup shredded cheese (any kind works) • ¼ tsp garlic powder • ¼ tsp black pepper • 1½ cups French fried onions DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Sauté the chopped onion and bacon until the bacon is crispy and the onion is caramelized. Drain on paper towels. 3. In a large bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, heavy cream, shredded cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, most of the French fried onions, and the cooked bacon and onions. 4. Spread into a greased baking dish. 5. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes. 6. Sprinkle the remaining French fried onions over the top and bake for another 5 minutes. 7. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. #GreenBeanCasserole #ThanksgivingSides #HolidayRecipes #EasyRecipes #ThanksgivingRecipes
