I don’t fully understand this. I mean that with respect but confusion. The point of being Pakistani is openly welcoming all different ethnicities and uniting us between our shared religions while honoring and respecting our ethnic differences. With her argument she might as well say she’s northern Indian.

Evey other province is named after ethnicity, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan but Pashtuns were not allowed to call their province Afghania. They made joke of them by calling their province KPK

This is a fair argument, my kpk Pashtun friends highly indentify as Pashtun as it’s more valid describing their culture and accurate representation instead of Pakistani

At the time of partition only two choices were given ‘do you accept India 🇮🇳 or Pakistan 🇵🇰’? If a third choice were given ‘do Pashtun wants their own independence ? Over 90% would had chosen their own sovereignity.

I say I’m Pashtun because I want the world to recognize our identity and understand that we have our own distinct culture, language, food, clothing, and traditions. When I simply say I’m Pakistani, people may assume I speak Urdu and follow the same cultural traditions as everyone else in Pakistan. Pakistan is home to many different ethnic groups, and I want people to recognize and appreciate our unique Pashtun identity and culture. ❤️
