@tintinbeligan: PART 1 | Exploring the Lucas Museum! 🌟🎬 We finally made it to the Lucas Museum, just one month after its grand opening, and WOW! 🤩 The sheer size of this place is incredible, and the futuristic architecture alone is a sight to behold! Our first stop? The gift shop, of course! 🛍️ We figured we’d beat the crowds before exploring the museum. I was hoping for a bigger selection of Lucas Museum hoodies, but instead, I walked away with a beautiful matted picture of the iconic Princess Leia. Not a bad souvenir for a Star Wars fan! Next, we headed up to the fourth floor, where we were greeted by an impressive collection of Norman Rockwell artwork. But the highlight for me? The Star Wars collection! 🌌✨ Talk about a trip down memory lane! Seeing all that incredible artwork brought back so many childhood memories, from when I first fell in love with Star Wars through my twenties. It was such a nostalgic experience! Did you know the museum features approximately 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, primarily spread across the fourth and fifth floors? That’s a LOT of art to explore! Unfortunately, we only had enough time to experience the fourth floor, which means we’ll definitely be back to discover what awaits on the fifth! We were also hoping to check out the stunning rooftop sky garden, but learned that it’s reserved for private events, including weddings, galas, and corporate gatherings. There’s still so much more to see, including the beautiful hanging garden, so you can bet we’ll be returning!
