He can be cautious in new situations but has shown moments of curiosity and friendliness as he gets comfortable. Tauro would appreciate a patient adopter who can help him build confidence and continue working on his leash manners. Owner Notes 10/17: Tauro was a 3-year-old neutered, microchipped dog who was surrendered because his owner was moving out of state. He had been with his family for three years and was described as playful, active, and loving toward his owners. He enjoyed playing rough, tugging on ropes, and fetching. Tauro knew several commands, including sit, paw, walk, come, and crate. He was primarily house-trained but also used potty pads indoors. He tended to pull on the leash when excited. His owner reported that he was protective and displayed aggression toward strangers, other dogs, and cats, but had no reported bite history. Tauro experienced separation anxiety and was taking medication for it. His owner recommended an experienced, adult-only home without other pets, and with someone willing to continue his training.
