@staranto92: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. admitted on pit road after being passed for the win by Kyle Larson coming to the checkered flag that he never saw Larson coming. He was focused on the 24 and by the time he realized the 5 was coming, it was too late to try and hold him off. "They kept running into each other, and I felt like if they could keep running into each other we were gonna be OK. I just never would've dreamed the 5 would've had that big of a run." Stenhouse lauded his team's strategy as well as the extra work they did addressing the transaxle issue that they found in their car after qualifying. The 47 crew worked late yesterday and early this morning to get that fixed up enough for their driver to nearly get another Talladega win.
