Hi I’m a junior in Rockford, the comments make it sound horrible but anywhere you attend school people are going to be good or bad and Rockford has so many opportunities and people if you attend I think you’ll be fine!

As someone who graduated Rockford in 2025, I personally look back on my 4 years with fond memories. I had some amazing teachers along the way, and met some amazing people. And while I did face a lot of flack for being one of 3 openly gay boys in my grade, I just walked through those hallways standing tall and knowing who my people were. Best of luck to you, I hope you have a positive experience!!

i go to rockford and i have had lots of ups and downs, but rockford itself had nothing to do with it, it was the people there. it’s all about finding the right group of friends & if you can do that, then you will be just fine.🤍

hey girl, I’m a Rockford graduate in the school definitely has its ups and downs, but I’ve also made some of my best memories in the high school! You truly do find the greatest people and have some of the most fun memories to look back on! I would go back in a heartbeat if I was able to💞 every high school is gonna have good and bad things about them. It just depends on your experience and how you live through it.

Rockford is great once you find your group! Before then, though, it can be pretty rough. Most admin don’t care about the students wellbeing, but many teachers do! The music, theater, and sports departments are pretty great too(JOIN CHOIR 🙏🙏)
