I had 2 tears and surgery. For me, it was worth it but beware it doesn't take weeks to heal it takes months and even years. I am an active person and bodybuilder and for me to fully heal, it took me 3 to 4 years. its still not like it was before the tear but I am able to use it 100% without pain. I also would like to say this is a very painful recovery and it will take so much longer than you will expect. Whatever pain relief is used do not hold back you will need it. I recommend the 3 day nerve block
