i truly believe he was deeply unhappy throughout the show & didn’t believe in his value regarding the friendships with the members. if you watch the show from the beginning & pay solely attention to gary, it’s clear he felt left out, looked over, disregarded. he hinted at this multiple times throughout the show & everyone laughed it off. that’s not to say the other members were malicious, i don’t believe that for a second. but i don’t think they took him seriously when he expressed those feelings. it’s really sad because i know they loved him but he didn’t believe it himself.

Before someone jumps in and say “Gary have his own reasons to leave”, yeah I know, it doesn’t erase the deep sadness he left though. To have someone that was so close that the group would feel incomplete without, it hurts to see that that someone cut ties as if we failed him unknowingly. It left not only sadness but guilty and regret we never sure of. Anyway, I miss you Gary.

guys, i said this as someone who has been trying living in korea, it's pretty common here for someone distanced themselves from anyone like particularly anyone and being gone😭 seeing other members talking about his disappearance with laught means they still at the good term at that time, maybe gary lives hit hard so he needs to.... yeah just gone.

Many ppl don't know how hard early running man episodes are. they even have episodes where they told they got injured. And gary is suffering from identity crisis bc he's a musician, at the time probly he didn't plan to do running man for 6yrs. He got exhausted. And now running man is airing for 16yrs and no longer doing name-tag game, can't blame him.

It’s possible that he changed his number without telling anyone else because he himself finds it very painful to stay in touch when they rarely—or never—get to see each other. That’s a painful situation. Just my own thought.
