Every time I drive on Gratiot in between Richmond and New Haven I think the same exact thing!!! If you grew up in that area you know never to drink the water and you learn when to keep your windows closed when the wind blows a certain way!!! My best friend grew up in New Haven and I grew up in Armada/ Romeo and I knew the rules just from growing up with her.

so you either force the private dump site to charge an outrageous tipping fee or do exactly as Trump is going to do with Tarrifs. either way Canada won't pay it if its more expensive to dump local. 🙄

Here's the thing though because Canada is still butt hurt about the United States tarrifying them that this tariff could cause Canada to keep the trash in Canada to avoid the tariff.

Private waste collectors are the ones taking the trash and collecting the money. Under US Federal (not state) law trash is classified as an article of commerce and is immune to state laws banning its trade. So who was the idiot that said we should be allowed to collect trash from other countries? I guess you could say the constitution….
