A stuck full throttle is easily handled by the mixture control. You lean the engine out till you get the horsepower you desire. The engine will be running far lean of peak and not cause any overheating issues.

Makes me appreciate all the simulated engine out landings/power off 180s I did back in private training. Stuck throttle, just kill the motor and float it in, but seems she did a great job of that

Only problem is heard was the other aircraft asking what the emergency was. The controller cut him off, I’m sure he was trying to lend a hand or some advise. He may have had a fix for the stuck throttle situation.
