When I found out they were dating, my heart just dropped and my face was in disbelief. My other BFF was surprised at my expression but I played it cool. They're probably still in a relationship. I used to have a gorgeous, the beauty standard image, of a friend who would get random flowers and gifts from guys and princess treatment all the time. I adored her, but internally it *killd* my confidence around her cuz I was invisible standing next to her. she was skinny and beautiful, and I was chubby and average. I loved her, but I was so envious. that was when I was a teen, grown up now and I've learned to accept I may not be beauty standard, but I'm still cute.
