I'm no expert but if the flow of water is so strong that the stream launches itself that far past the shingle then no gutter would catch it...am I wrong?

Well, if you understood science a hose test does not work on leaf guard or gutter helmet. It needs surface tension to work properly. That’s misinformation. You have to spray the nose off once a year maybe and all the water will go right in 👍

The cheep plastic ones at Menards is what I put on my shop out back because of the farmers tree line and they work great no more leaves and they drain great during heavy rain no more cleaning out the gutters every weekend just more time to hide in the shop from the wife lol 😂

Exactly. Those can only be used on low slope roofs. Water gets too much speed on med to high slope roofs

The first one is usually the most expensive option too 😂 we always are replacing those things. It’ll be on a 12/12 and the homeowner is like “its just rushing over the gutter line” yeah because they installed a ramp for the water coming off your roof lol
