@newageceo: Sit down this week and put two things on paper: the number your household needs, and the nights that belong to each other. If the first number keeps growing, something on the second list is going to disappear. #runtheplay

A man can provide everything financially and still leave his wife emotionally starving. Biblical provision is more than paying bills; it’s about being present emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Yes, a woman should honor the sacrifices her husband makes, but her longing for his presence should never be mistaken for ingratitude. Ephesians 5:25 calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church. That love is sacrificial, intentional, and present. A woman can appreciate what you provide and still grieve what your absence costs her. Provision sustains a household, but presence nurtures a marriage.

Exactly. I’m glad my gf isn’t like this but man… in my past… it was rough. The ONLY time I got a “free pass” so to speak was when I was in the Army for 6 years because the moment you have a job EVERYONE knows can have long demanding hours early morning PT, field exercises that require staying away for a week to a month or more, etc. they can accept it. But if you work a “normal” job.. even if it’s working 12+ hr shifts they get mad they don’t get enough “quality time” but they enjoy the perks of those checks with all that overtime on them.

This kind of dinner is exactly what I’m craving on a fall evening at home! Less than 10 ingredients and less than 30 minutes to absolute cozy weeknight perfection with @Butterball Turkey Breast Tenderloins. #ButterballPartner Recipe: Turkey Medallions with Gravy Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 25 minutes Servings: 4–5 Ingredients: 24 oz package Butterball Turkey Breast Tenderloins 2 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1/4 cup neutral oil, divided 2 Tbsp flour 1 1/2 cups chicken stock 1 tsp dark soy sauce 1 Tbsp chopped chives (optional) Instructions: Remove the Butterball Turkey Breast Tenderloins from the package and pat dry with a paper towel. Slice each tenderloin in half lengthwise, then cut each piece into thin slices. Pat them dry once again and season generously with the salt and pepper. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp of the oil. Sear the turkey medallions for about 2–4 minutes per side, or until well browned. Work in batches as needed, adding another splash of oil to the pan between batches. Set the cooked turkey medallions aside on a plate. Once all the turkey is cooked, add the remaining oil, then sprinkle over the flour. Stir together with a whisk or wooden spoon and cook the roux for 2–3 minutes. Add the chicken stock and whisk again, then bring to a simmer so the gravy starts to thicken. Season with more salt and pepper to taste, then add the dark soy sauce. Regular soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce can also be used instead. Add the turkey medallions back into the gravy and simmer for another 3–5 minutes, or until the gravy is thickened to your liking. Remove from the heat, sprinkle over the fresh chives if using, and serve.
