@thekarlstefanovicshow: Neville isn’t against wind farms. He just didn’t expect to be looking at one every morning. Neville and Gladys retired to cattle country near Jandowae in Queensland. The farmers next door host the turbines and get paid for it. Neville and Gladys turned down an offer to host them, but they live with them anyway. Turbines go where the wind, the power lines and willing landowners are. Every extra kilometre of power line costs millions, and power is lost along the way. Sometimes that puts them next door. Fair deal for the hosts, or should the neighbours get more of a say in where? Full episode on YouTube and all podcast apps. Link in bio. #WindFarm #Queensland #renewables
