It’s funny because nobody wanted my Rico either. And that cat saved my life. Literally. I had passed out and he meowed head butted me and licked me till I woke up. He wouldn’t go eat or use the litter box without me there. My old roommate who wanted him in the first place hated him but took him with her when she moved. I confronted her threatened her with domestics at the police station etc till she gave him back. I promised him I’d always be back. He wound up with my father but I still went back to see him. I was rebuilding my life so i could take him. One Christmas i went back and Rico was skinny and you could feel his bones. I was so upset I left bawling. One week while I was with my father he started acting really strange. Then one night he just collapsed. He dragged himself in the bedroom to die with me. December 13th 2022 I lost my will to live. The last thing that had kept me going..was gone. It’s like he was saying mama you kept your promise you’d always come back…that cat loved me so much…he wasn’t of this world…and he can never be replaced.

Man my pure white deaf cat cotton showed up at my house about 12 years ago. She crys like a girl screaming like 3 times in a row at 2am everyday. She will come and poke me in the head if I don't wake up to see her. I don't know why she does that 😳
