Just had to have my oldest removed from my house. Asked him to clean his room and get the dishes out. He flipped, called me a terrible mother, and threatened to commit suicide. He has been doing this for years. I feel like I can't take it anymore. It hurts so bad every single time; but, I have to think about his younger siblings (who are both still minors.)

my daughter is doing this to me too.... her dad (who I'm not with anymore) has convinced her of it because he let's her do whatever she wants and never get in trouble and just buys hers everything

exactly! I was a married single mother and during it was always your a great mom, you take care of their needs, to him now calling me a horrible mother, that I dont care about them. but then if they dont do as he expects he asks me to help.

Been called this by my oldest got into an argument because of my last post… even my mother got on to me. Thing is, lost my husband to ALS. I did everything on my own so they wouldn’t have to carry with all the bad memories And now everyone wants to judge me… there was nothing wrong with my post🤦🏻♀️

In my experience the ones who are always worried they’re a bad parent are the ones who are actually the best parents. Because they’re always trying to be better. The ones who think they’re killing it are ass. So even if he’s wrong, never become complacent. Then you’ll start slipping and your kids always deserve your best. They didn’t ask to be here.
