honestly, I think it comes down to the price tag. If they are worth so much in liga mx; they are expecting to perform well at the start by the European clubs. Liga mx is like in the top 2 leagues in the Americas (in my opinion brazil seria a is first ) but mls and la liga argentina even brazil export more players bc the cost is low. Brazil and Argentina probably could justify exporting players at a higher price. Mexico has the football culture i belive it the finances is what holding everyone behind. if the finances is straightened out mexico as a national team could be on par with argentina and brazil but that up to the mentality afterwards.

I know I'm in enemy territory here but look at what Chicharito did due to his work ethic. He has great movement but there's been Mexican players that are naturally way more talented but Sir Alex and his teammates at utd talked about how hard he worked and he had a great career up until his downfall with that life coach dude
