After meeting a lot of people, including my family and my girlfriend, I realized that whenever I tried to open up, I hoped to get a deeply understanding response. But over time, I felt like no one truly cared to understand my story. That’s why I chose to shut down and keep everything to myself. I felt like it was kind of my fault or maybe just justified because I am so sensitive to how others react to the stories I share. Now, I’m trying to open up again, but only to my closest friend, and I’ve set very strict boundaries on who I talk to.
