How many countries have produced a considerable amount of global brands in the past few decades? The majority of tech brands are from the US with the remaining few from the US, Scandinavia and China. Most of the global FMCG brands are from those countries, although many are older than a few decades. Some of the emerging local brands from big markets like India have reached the global market.
the point is, a single country cannot decide how the world economy works. We do have global brands in the areas where we have a USP. Dilmah, Lion beer, and Rockland for example. If we want to create global brands, we have to look where we have a USP. All three brands capitalize on our colonial heritage so they have something unique to offer to the world.

Clay Zone :
I'm currently building my own handmade clay brand called Clay Mart in Sri Lanka after I finished my ALs! My goal is to create original polymer clay characters and grow them into a successful business. At the same time, I have a bigger dream of building a professional stop-motion animation studio in Sri Lanka and creating original animated films and stories for the world to enjoy. 🎬🔥 I know it's a long journey, but I want to start small, keep learning, and turn my passion into something bigger one day. I'd really appreciate your advice on industry demand, opportunities, and how I can get started and grow. Any guidance would mean a lot to me! Thank you so much💜️

Lack of innovation, people try to copy things without innovating… Number one problem will be high cost of manufacturing.. so not much investors could invest in this country which is very unfortunate.. we have very skilled people and know-how..!!!..investors looking for cheaper labor these days.,
