When I was 18 I dated a man for 2 years. We lived together, did everything together. He cheated on me with a woman that had 3 kids. I was prettier, more educated, no children.. I had to know who she was and when I found her on social media I could not for the life of me understand why her? I was young and hurt. I eventually broke up with him and moved on but I learned from that that it doesn’t matter who the other person is, your partner shouldn’t go out of your relationship and it’s not you it’s something within themselves for why they chose to do what they do, let them, and wish them the best. Focus on yourself and have standards for how you want to be loved and treated. I have never looked at another woman as competition ever again. I’m 37 years old now and I’ve never looked up anyone else on social media not any of my ex’s not any of my boyfriend ex’s.. I do not care. I only care about how my person is treating me. We all have a past but we are living in the presence. Enjoy your partner, other people don’t matter. Don’t ever look at someone in curiosity or question what it is about them, don’t ever idolize other people or other people’s relationships because you never know what people are battling with. What God has for them is for them and what God has for you is for you. Is your partner doing or saying anything that is making you curious or feel insecure about his ex, if so definitely talk to him about that but if this is just you, stop it, wish that person well and focus on yourself, pour into you

I was her and he did the same thing he did to the previous girl. Told me she mistreated him etc but the truth was he is the abuser. He did me so wrong its been a year I am still living with the aftermath for his lack of accountability. He has multiple addictions and lies so easily. Any relationship built on another woman's tears will never be peaceful because the man doesn't change. They always choose easier. When things get hard they will run out in you too. If the relationship asks you to self abandon then you know its not a safe space for you to be.
