@khaleejtimesofficial: Jordanian security forces arrested three suspects following Friday’s shooting at a Greek Orthodox church in Karak, where gunmen opened fire during a funeral. According to the Public Security Directorate, the suspects were located on Monday in an abandoned house, where they opened fire on security forces before being wounded and arrested. Authorities recovered firearms and ammunition, while confirming that no security personnel were injured during the operation. King Abdullah ordered an “iron fist” response to the attack, as security was increased around malls, embassies and other locations across Jordan. Authorities described the attackers as extremists, but no group has claimed responsibility, and their affiliations remain unknown. #Khaleejtimes #Jordan #Karak #ChurchAttack #Amman
