Im actually very concerned at the amount of people saying ‘’you should have merged sooner into open spots’’ that’s not how that works. The whole reason the merge lane is there is so you can use THE WHOLE lane. Stopping randomly halfway down it just causes more backup, especially if that merge lane turns into another exit and people are trying to get around you. Just take it up to the front and merge on.
