SpotOnNaan :
I'm a mariner like this caller, it's a rewarding profession if you can clear the initial barrier. there is no reason for him to relocate if he is a qualified mariner. many of us need to quiet the "noise" about Nigeria and just look for opportunities within the country. You'll be alright. Abroad especially the UK isn't the be all end all

This is the message we are trying to pass across to them. It's so difficult to understand how some of them reason. Sometimes, it feels like the moment they step outside Nigeria, they leave their common sense and critical thinking back home. 🤦♂️

FOR CONTEXT: Yesterday, I shared the story of a marine engineer who joined one of my live sessions and explained how he left a successful career in Nigeria, relocated to the UK, funded his wife’s education, and eventually found himself working as a security officer at Marks & Spencer, where he collapsed during a shift. Someone on Instagram accused me of fabricating the story just to generate engagement. This video is my response to that accusation. If you haven’t watched yesterday’s video, I encourage you to watch it first. It provides the background to what I’m addressing here.
