@classics.journey: The San Francisco 49ers finally suffered their first defeat of the NFL season, and their growing list of unavailable players may be becoming too much to overcome. San Francisco entered Week 7 with a perfect 6-0 record, but the Atlanta Falcons changed everything with a 29-20 victory. The 49ers stayed competitive despite missing several wide receivers and defensive star Nick Bosa, while Christian McCaffrey also struggled with a thigh problem during the game. The turning point came late in the contest. With San Francisco trailing 26-20, quarterback Brock Purdy threw an interception to linebacker Kendal Daniels, ending the 49ers’ hopes of keeping their perfect record alive. The defeat exposed a serious concern: San Francisco has struggled to maintain its depth as key players miss time. The team still sits at 6-1 and has a bye in Week 8, giving its roster a chance to recover. Elsewhere, the Denver Broncos delivered a 30-16 win with explosive touchdowns, while the New York Giants stunned Houston 27-21 in overtime. Minnesota’s Harrison Smith sealed a 16-10 victory over Indianapolis with his 40th career interception. But there were painful setbacks for other teams. The Green Bay Packers fell 20-17 to Detroit after costly missed field goals, the New York Jets lost to Miami, and Baltimore surrendered a 13-point halftime lead before falling 35-13 to Cincinnati. Week 7 showed just how quickly momentum can shift in the NFL. For the 49ers, the biggest challenge now is getting healthy before their early-season success slips away. Can San Francisco recover and return to championship form, or will its roster problems derail the season? \#NFL #49ers #NFLWeek7 #FootballNews #SportsNews
