For anyone wondering he took fruit cups that were to be discarded and stole a bit of chicken… this happened over a period of at least a few weeks as the managers waited for the total cost to be more for a harsher charge.

If I was management and I see one of my employees taking expired food that’s supposed to be thrown away so he can eat a meal you better believe I’m calling him in my office. I will also be pissed off that he didn’t trust me enough to come to me when he was hungry so he could have proper meals till he gets paid. I would give him a gift card for the store and let him know to come to me when he needs food to make ends meet. I would’ve never got the police involved cause that’s the opposite response this situation needed.
