I write this sitting at Maya Maya airport, my dirty luggage are all checked in…. From the endless days paddling through the heart of the Congo Basin, the heat, the exhaustion, the laughter, the uncertainties, and all those unforgettable moments along the river… what a journey it has been! We came together with a mission, faced the challenges together, and leave with memories that will last a lifetime. More importantly, I hope our journey has given a voice to the Congo rainforest and the people whose lives depend on it. Ash and Will, thank you for the brotherhood, the trust, and the incredible memories. Our expedition may have ended, but the friendship and the mission continue. Until our paths cross again, brothers. Safe travels!
