she genuinely didn’t deserve any of this, it sucks because society pushes men to be dl so there’s this cycle of women getting hurt no matter what. Misogyny and homophobia are very different but very connected to the idea that it’s bad to be anything that effeminates you. even for women themselves being treated bad because feminine anything is viewed as less than, aswell as dating a man effeminates you. this movie still stands today….
