@leewalmsley122: An Album per day Challenge 2026 – Day 298 - Day (1029) - Gretel- Squish This is the debut Album from the English singer-songwriter, released in April 2026. This is not the first time I have listened to this album. I listened to this on the week of released, as her single “Drive” one I enjoyed back in 2022 and I thought she was an interesting artist. Pop with a bit of an edge. To my disappointment “Drive” wasn’t on the Album and maybe it doesn’t fit into the sound and feel of this Album. The title track is the first track and is quite catchy however I felt this was the highlight of the Album with the rest not providing the same level of enjoyment. As I said this artist is interesting, she has a great voice not dissimilar to Florence Welsh, he sound is pop with a slightly alternative edge but in terms of quirky pop there are a number of artists I prefer from Griff, Beabadobee to Sombr. This is not an Album I am desperate to listen to again. #AADChallenge2026 @Darren @JamNite @Soul Sister @YamVinylCollector @Mark Foster @Dunc V @Chris // Rockabuy Records @joneszzie
