The big thing to me is, this will make Christians look insane, no one will come to Christ if people push this theory, regardless of what the earth is shaped like, it doesnt mean anything for our salvation. only one goal, and thats bring people to Jesus.

Also doesn’t the Bible say that when the heavens open and Jesus comes down from heaven the whole earth will see him? I’m not sure about this because I’m new in my faith and learning. But if the bible does say this how will the underneath/bottom see him at the same time? 🤷🏻♀️

The Bible is focused on who God is and what He is doing, not on giving a model of Earth's shape. The writers spoke in the everyday picture their audience already understood so the actual message would be clear....that God made it, He rules it, and people answer to Him. Getting hung up on the shape of the earth is missing the point.

Isaiah 40:22 if you look up circle in the Hebrew, it says compass a compass is flat with upturned edges. Or seal like a wax seal that they used to stamp scrolls with it is also flat with upturned edges. Just trying to keep it real.
