DIY Accordion Paper Flowers 🌸 Materials Used Flower Petals ● Pink paper Flower Center ● Yellow paper Tools ● Scissors ● Round plate/object used as a circle template ● Adhesive Making Process 1. Show several completed dimensional paper flowers in pink shades. 2. Place a square sheet of pink paper on the work surface. 3. Position a round plate/template on the paper. 4. Trace/use the circular edge as the cutting guide. 5. Cut around the guide to create a large pink circle. 6. Begin folding one edge of the circle into a narrow strip. 7. Flip/fold the paper back in the opposite direction. 8. Continue alternating the folds across the circle to create an accordion. 9. Compress the completed accordion into a narrow folded strip. 10. Pinch/fold the strip at its center. 11. Open the two sides outward. 12. Bring the sections together to create the first fan-shaped petal section. 13. Repeat with additional folded sections. 14. Join the fan sections around the center until a full round flower is formed. 15. Press and adjust the accordion folds so the petals spread evenly. 16. Prepare a rectangular piece of yellow paper. 17. Cut it into a long strip. 18. Make many closely spaced cuts along one long edge to create a fringe. 19. Leave the opposite edge intact so the fringe remains connected. 20. Roll the yellow fringed strip tightly from one end. 21. Continue rolling until it forms a compact flower center. 22. Spread/fluff the cut fringe outward. 23. Position the yellow center in the middle of the pink accordion flower. 24. Secure it in place. 25. Adjust the pink petals around the center. 26.
