Why you people need to do is understand how product manufacturing works. These crack screens represent 0.01% to 0.1% of all iPhone duos that are out in the hands of users. That is an exceptionally small percentage. Yes, some of it is likely due to a manufacturing defect. That’s because humans make mistakes. Some of it’s also likely to do to people abusing their phones. It’s probably a combination of both. With every single product that goes out in the market, there are always going to be a fraction of them that have some type of defect, whether that’s a Louis Vuitton handbag, a Gap sweatshirt, or a piece of electronics.

Do y’all really think Apple didn’t test all this before production? Most is user error!

It causes a bump on the hinge that protrudes through the screen... Once this happens, your phone is at risk of cracking at anytime

Imagine one of few parts of the phone Apple actually engineered is causing all the issues.

This is why you never purchase a new product on release day

Give them 2 more times. As far as crease they are ahead, but mechanics prolly a bit behind. Looks cool tho.

those 2 hinges are too far out when closing, any pressure tension will break the screen, only a redesign can fix it
