@pollar.news: Israel votes on Tuesday 27 October. A party needs 3.25 percent of the valid votes to win any seats. Below that line it gets none, and its votes pass to no one. In 2022 the line was 154,855 votes. Meretz missed it by 4,062; Balad won 138,617. Their 289,410 votes won no seat. Netanyahu and his allies won 48.4 percent of the valid votes, 53.0 percent of the votes that shared out the seats, and 64 of 120 seats. Ofer Winter's Amcha Yisrael launched with a promise to back only Netanyahu. Winter has since made his support conditional, and on 24 Oct he did not rule out a broad right-wing coalition including Eisenkot. All three final TV polls (23 Oct) put the party below the line. On 21 October Netanyahu posted that Winter should "step down for the sake of the right-wing victory" (Times of Israel translation), and Smotrich offered him a ministerial post if he quit. Winter, on video: "I am not surrendering today." Gantz's Blue and White withdrew on 19 October; a small Haredi party, Achi, on 23 October. Hendel's Reservists, above the line in one poll, say they are in neither camp. Both camps' leaders rule out governing with the Arab parties; Ra'am and Joint List leaders said in interviews (Dawn, 25 Oct) they are open to working with Eisenkot's camp, on conditions.
