For those who dont know, in this situation in an automatic transmission you should shift into neutral and coast until you lose enough speed to safely use your emergency brake (yes thats what the e in ebrake stands for)

Saw the full video a while back vehicle black box indicated he rarely applied the brakes at all and they were working just fine and it also pointed out that he kept accelerating instead of slowing down

As a medic I have found patients from being ejected in trees, ponds,cornfields,sunflower fields,Under cars. 85% didnt survive. Wear your Seatbelt, way better odds.
