@@elizabethvoid: Rest in peace to the legendary Eric Bauza. At just 46 years old, he truly was the heart and soul of modern Looney Tunes. To step into the massive shoes of giants like Mel Blanc is a monumental task, but Eric didn't just mimic those iconic voices, but he lived them. As a proud Filipino-Canadian actor, he rose to the very peak of the industry, channeling Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Marvin the Martian, and so many others with a brilliant, chameleonic grace. He never saw himself as a replacement, but rather as a temporary caretaker of a timeless legacy.
He once beautifully noted: "Looney Tunes transcends all languages and all cultures. It doesn't matter what part of the planet you're from. You get the comedy."
Thank you, Eric, for bringing so much laughter to millions around the world, for your incredible warmth, and for keeping the golden age of animation alive for a whole new generation. You didn't just fulfill a legacy as you solidified your own alongside the masters. Thank you so much for voicing Master Splinter in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Puss in Boots in The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Foop and Poof in The Fairly OddParents, Tiger Claw in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 and Baby Fozzie in Mupet Babies. Thank you so much for being in my childhood, but for a million in a whole in all of our childhoods. Fly high, angel 🕊️🪦. In another life, maybe things would have been so different
