To the wife who wars for her husband when nobody is watching… keep praying. There are prayers I pray over my husband that he will probably never know I prayed. Prayers over his mind. His calling. His purity. His business. His decisions. His protection. Our covenant. Our children. And yes, even our marriage bed. 🤍 Today I found myself in our bedroom worshipping, flagging, speaking the name of Jesus and praying over my husband and the things God has entrusted to us. And I felt like another wife needed this reminder: Your bedroom can be an altar before it is ever a battlefield. Before you fight with your husband, remember that you can fight for him. Pray over the place where you sleep together. Pray over your intimacy. Pray that anything that has brought distance, resentment, temptation, shame, comparison, offense or disconnection into your covenant loses its place. Ask God to purify what belongs between you and your husband and teach you both how to love one another well. And this isn’t about pretending marriage problems don’t exist or making a wife responsible for fixing everything. It’s about remembering the power of bringing your marriage before Jesus. Some prayers don’t need an audience. Some warfare doesn’t need an announcement. And your husband doesn’t have to know every time you’ve gone before God on his behalf. Wife, keep covering your husband in prayer. Keep covering your covenant. Keep inviting Jesus into your marriage.
