Damina lacks understanding. He should read his Bible carefully. He does not even know the difference between Passover and Communion.
1 Corinthians 10:16 says:
“The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?”
It was during the Last Supper that Jesus instituted Communion, declaring the cup to be the new covenant in His blood.
Listen to Paul’s own words:
**1 Corinthians 11:23–24 (KJV)**
“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:”
“And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.”
You claim Paul was not practising Communion, yet Paul explicitly says he received this practice from the Lord and delivered it to the believers!
The problem in Corinth was that some believers were eating their own food ahead of others, humiliating the poor. Paul corrected their abuse of the gathering; he did not abolish Communion.
The practice followed the pattern established by Jesus, who instituted the new covenant during the Last Supper.
Here is a simple question: **Why does Paul say that whenever we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes?
1 Corinthians 11:26
“For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.”
