Ohhhhh my gawd i had nearly toss exact one happen to me years ago, and I got fired. Lady came up to the deli counter and asked for the rye bread that was at knee height in front of her. I stepped around the counter and did a "ta da" gesture.

I've got a new favourite customers who comes in multiple times a week and goes "are you selling any actual food do you have any actual sandwiches today or not" after having asked her if she is in for just cake and coffee or some lunch aswell at which point I can just show her the menu right in front of her face
