@equity.ben: I get plenty of hate on the internet, so watching my daughter grow up with the confidence to roast me to my face is honestly one of my greatest joys. I’m raising a girl who thinks for herself, speaks her mind, has a wicked sense of humor, and isn’t afraid to stand her ground. She doesn’t need to be liked by everyone, and she certainly doesn’t need anyone’s permission to be herself. So go ahead, Charlotte. Roast your Papa. Keep me humble. Keep being your hilarious, independent, strong-willed self. Because in a world that can be so cruel, raising a daughter who is strong enough to laugh, stand up for herself, and never lose who she is? That’s the kind of parenting I’m proud of.
