There storms and bad weather so it’s just so your ok if the power goes out that’s it, most emergency services procedures should get things like power lines up with in 72 hours that’s why it’s a 3 day supply cuz that’s best case scenario- if no difference than getting extra tissues when it’s cold and flu season or drinking more water in the summer cuz of heat waves but the government have a duty of care and are just telling people to be a little prepared just in case

Just pick up a couple of extra items each week for power cuts ect 3 days huh I’d plan on a week or longer. It’s just to get you over the initial breakdown of the system

In a nutshell, the whole country are boycotting the supermarkets on the 28th October in protest to the cost of living. They’re probably doing this to encourage people to go shopping more.
