Also if you see the cards on the table there’s a 4 and a 5 while getting the taffy so that makes me wonder if wybie was supposed to be the 4th child and maybe he survived and the grandma and wybie lied 🫤 so thats why wybie gave her the doll to see if coraline could beat the beldum

I can’t help but think the three dates are of kids who probably went through the door once and never went back. The stone could have been given to a kid that survived. Those bowls represent the kids that encountered the beldam and lived….maybe?

I have a question. If this was already answered I'm sorry for asking. But when coraline is in the normal world why does her squid plushie have a pink button as an eye? Like before and after she "beat" the other mother? It always has a button but the other plushies don't (except for the other world obviously).

in the book, one of the girls is literally a fae. she had wings and ate flowers. I know the book and the movie are super different but in the book I think she was the first. because the beldam isn't a simple witch. she is a centuries old entity that eats children of all kinds of creatures
