We live with pain, exhaustion, neurological symptoms, and limitations that others may never witness. And instead of asking how they can help, people question why we’re still sick. We don’t need pity. We need understanding. We don’t need another lecture about positivity. We need people to recognize that being chronically ill is not a personal failure.
