I loved this book. Braithwaite left a lot for us to fill in the gaps, and I thought it was brilliant because somehow, she expanded the universe in ways where we see how our conclusions feed directly into the plot without making things look off. For example, how their dad died. However you spin it, it makes sense into the way you would interpret both sisters. If the older one did, it makes sense as to why she’s so protective and aids her sister in her crimes. If it was the younger one, then there lies your backstory into why she behaves the way she does with her love interests. It was a brilliant book!
