@al_ezz620: 🔴 BREAKING: Your electricity bill changes on 1 January 2027. Saudi Energy's new home tariff: 1. 21 halalas per kWh for the first 6,000 kWh a month, up from 18. 2. 33 halalas per kWh above 6,000 kWh, up from 30. 3. A new fixed monthly charge of SAR 70, 80, 90 or 100 depending on your breaker size, replacing the old meter fee. VAT is added on top. Saudi Energy's own example: a home using 1,000 kWh a month on a breaker under 100 amps pays SAR 280 before VAT. Electricity you use before 1 January is still billed at the old rates. To help with the higher bills, a royal order gives SAR 500 a month to state civil and military employees, retirees and social security families. Check your breaker size on your bill now so you know which monthly charge applies to you.
