ONE PASTOR, TWO WIVES, AND A CHURCH THAT SUPPORTS IT? 👀💍💍 LORD, WE NEED TO TALK! 😳😂🔥 I just watched a reel featuring a pastor, his wife, who is also a pastor, and another woman who serves as a minister in their church. Apparently, the pastor has married this second woman, and all three are openly embracing what they describe as a poly relationship! 😳 Now, here’s where things get interesting! 👀 They expressed how grateful they are to have a church family that supports and accepts their relationship. They even talked about how other people in similar relationships have been rejected or put out of churches, but their congregation is creating a welcoming environment. And listen, I have some THOUGHTS! 😂 First of all, everybody deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and love. Nobody should be humiliated, bullied, or treated like they’re beyond the reach of God’s grace. BUT HERE’S MY QUESTION! 👀 WHEN DOES ACCEPTANCE BECOME ENDORSEMENT? Because there’s a difference between welcoming somebody into the house of God and declaring that everything they practice is biblically acceptable! Now, before somebody runs to the Old Testament, YES, Abraham, Jacob, David, and Solomon had multiple wives. We know! 😂 But just because something was recorded in Scripture doesn’t automatically mean it was God’s ideal. Jesus pointed us back to the beginning in Matthew 19:4-6, where He described marriage through the union of two becoming one flesh. And 1 Timothy 3:2 speaks of an overseer being the husband of one wife. I believe the church should be a place where people can come as they are, but that doesn’t mean biblical leadership should be exempt from biblical examination. LOVE PEOPLE WITHOUT COMPROMISING CONVICTION. CORRECT PEOPLE WITHOUT CRUSHING THEIR SPIRIT. ❤️ And here’s something else, if we’re going to challenge this relationship biblically, let’s do it with Scripture, consistency, and humility, not selective outrage! Because some of the same churches condemning this situation have been strangely silent about adultery, abuse, and secret affairs happening behind their own pulpits! Whew! 👀 So here’s my question: Can a church be welcoming to everybody without affirming every lifestyle or relationship? And should pastors be held to a different standard when it comes to marriage? Let’s have a grown, biblical conversation. No hate, no personal attacks, just truth and grace! #jesus #shorts #god
