@otunba_media: Delta Police Arrest School Bus Driver Over Kidn@p, Rape Of 14-Year-Old In Sapele Delta State Police have arr£sted a 28-year-old school bus driver, Onome Ughagha, for allegedly kidn@pping and s£xually ass@ulting a 14-year-old student in Sapele. According to police spokesman SP Bright Edafe, the incident was reported on 20th October 2026 at Sapele Area Command by the vict!m's father. The suspect allegedly abducted the girl while she was preparing to leave for school, then contacted the father demanding r@nsom and thre@tening to k!ll her. Police confirmed he collected ₦503,000 r@nsom before abandoning her along Oton Road in a traumatised state with signs of ass@ult. She was taken to hospital for examination. The driver abandoned the school bus and fled but was tracked to his hideout in Ajimele area of Sapele on Oct 23. He reportedly confessed during interrogation. Principal and vice-principal were invited for questioning. Case to be transferred to State CID Asaba.
