JUST_A_NYC_GUY_ :
A suspended 8-month prison sentence means the court has handed down an 8-month jail or prison term, but the person does not have to go to prison immediately. Instead, the sentence is put on hold (suspended) while the person remains free in the community. The person may have to follow rules like good behavior, attending counseling, paying fines, or doing community service. If the person successfully finishes the suspension period without breaking any rules, they do not have to serve the 8-month prison sentence. However, the criminal conviction still remains on their record. So basically, 8 months probation.

Why only 8 months. It should’ve been longer. To me it feels like CB got away with his crime. This angers me.
