I used to feel the same way until I looked at it logically. Back in school it was easy, everyone had the same schedule, school during the day and you could see them then and still hang out after. But as an adult we all grow apart, we work different schedules, different days, extra shifts and a relationship doesn’t leave room for much else. As an adult we’re just too busy. I don’t talk to my best friend for weeks at a time and it’s nothing personal, everyone just has their own lives and responsibilities and time is so valuable especially when you have to work extra just to pay bills.
