Thankful that y'all did this outside, PVC can release chlorine fumes, so best to not do this indoors.

guys a heat gun isn't a scratch-go-away gun. only works on composite materials because of the plastics in it

A hot iron and a wet cloth in between will raise the scratch on veneer to be lightly sanded out too 👌🏻
